Enroll in traditional face-to-face classes on our main campus in Cedar Rapids or one of our off-campus locations.
Kirkwood’s hybrid courses allow you to meet in person regularly and complete the rest of your coursework online. These classes keep you on track without keeping you in the classroom. Think of it as an online course with a regular face-to-face meeting time. Please note: The amount of time you spend in class depends on the specific course.

Start by choosing a term and subject (and specific course, if you know it). Click “Search.” Once you see your options listed, select the “Hybrid” option under Instruction Type. Then, you’ll see a percentage range listed within the section details to let you know how much of the course will be delivered online.
Kirkwood students can also choose from many online course options! Students enrolled in online classes experience the same levels of quality in faculty and have access to the same financial aid opportunities. In addition, there are several on-campus (and online) support services available to online students.

WebLive courses offer an alternative classroom experience, where students access live virtual classes at a scheduled time. Earn a degree from the comfort of your own home — or wherever else you’d like! All you need is a computer with a web camera and microphone, and high-speed Internet access.
