Aspiring medical professionals get as close to real-world hospital experience as possible at the Katz Family Healthcare Simulation Center, which is the first fully integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare simulation center in Iowa.
Local builders collaborated with students at Kirkwood to construct the Sustainability Village, a cluster of three 1,000-square-foot residential cabins and an educational center.
Here, students learn to use environmentally conscious tools, materials, and techniques, then get to see how well it all performs.
