Allied Van Lines is a large moving company that is looking to provide a scholarship to three students whose area of study focuses on logistics and moving-related fields. Each scholarship is $1,000 and is available to current students and to those who are enrolling in college. Apply by Dec. 15 at www.allied.com/scholarship.
Let’s Start Talking Iowa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in March of 2018 to promote, educate, and support suicide prevention, awareness, and mental health resources in the Cedar Valley area and beyond. The Let’s Start Talking Iowa scholarship will award $500 to one currently enrolled college student to help fund their financial costs when attending a post-secondary school. The scholarship is meant to support and recognize a student who has positively impacted their community.
