English as a Second Language

Free English Classes

Kirkwood Community College offers free English classes to adults. There are Beginning to Advanced Level classes. NOTE: You must be 16 years and 9 months or older. Childcare is not provided.

The registration process takes about six weeks. Students can start class on the date of the next session scheduled. If classes are already full, students must wait to begin class in the following session.

We will contact you to schedule an information session.
Attend the information session.
Take reading and listening tests.
Attend English classes once scheduled.
