Kirkwood has transfer agreements and transfer plans with many Universities and Colleges. These institutions visit campus throughout the school year as well. Meet with your advisor to discuss specifics and meet with representatives when they are on campus advising events calendar.

If you are planning to transfer out of state, we can still guide you in the planning process and help you reach out to that institution as you investigate their admission process.

Sure! Many students will take a class over the summer break at a college closer to home. Simply work with your advisor to be sure it is a needed and transferable class. You can also use the equivalency guide on the Transfer Equivalency System.

To request your official Kirkwood transcript, visit the Transcripts page to place an online order. Kirkwood does not take transcript orders by phone, email, or fax.

Articulation agreements are what we have in place with four year institutions that verify the transferability of your Kirkwood credits. These agreements enable you to transfer with ease to your college of choice and it is best to ask your advisor about the ways in which an agreement will work for you.
