Kirkwood’s Business Administration Transfer program is the first and only one to transfer directly to the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, or to Mount Mercy University. You’ll learn from faculty who will share their real-world business experience in the classroom.

Business Administration students are encouraged to join the Kirkwood chapter of Business Professionals of America (BPA) and/or Future Business Leaders of America, INC. (FBLA).
With 45,000 members in more than 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico, as well as an international presence in China, Haiti and Peru, BPA has the ability to enhance student participation in professional, civic, service and social endeavors.
FBLA is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world, helping more than 230,000 members prepare for careers in business each year.
BPA and FBLA are two of eight recognized members of the National Coordinating Council for Career and Technical Student Organizations (NCC-CTSO). CTSOs are co-curricular groups that help students in career and technical education programs further their knowledge and skills by participating in activities, events, and competitions.
The Business Administration Transfer program will positively impact the student by providing quality education in industry-identified technical skills, soft skills, and business-management knowledge. Students are encouraged to become life-long learners while making a productive contribution to their community and society.
